Israel Adesanya declares Nigeria ‘very corrupt’ receives special welcome in New Zealand


New Zealander-Nigerian mixed martial artiste, Israel Adesanya was given a heroic welcome in New Zealand after reclaiming his UFC Middleweight title.
 



Reports has it that Adesanya knocked out long-term rival, Alex Pereira at UFC 287 on April 9, 2023, to reclaim his crown, which he lost to the Brazilian last year.
Following his triumph, the Last Stylebender was thrilled with Haka Dance in New Zealand recently.


Adesanya was spotted on a video where thousands of New Zealanders welcomed him to the country. This comes after Adesanya declared his parents home country of Nigeria a "Very Corrupt Place".
While on the hot seat boxing podcast, the martial artist said he loves Nigeria and Nigerians, but the county's leaders are only interested in looting public funds for their selfish gains.

Leeds In Relegation Menace After West Ham Defeat

Nigerian chef Hilda Baci breaks Guinness World Record for longest cooking time, cooks 88 hours & still cooking .

 Congratulations have poured in for Nigeria’s chef, Hilda Baci, as she finally breaks record of existing Guinness World Records holder, Lata Tondon. The current holder of the is an Indian chef Lata Tandon, who set a Guinness World Record for cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop in 2019 . The 27-year-old has been cooking nonstop since 4 pm on Thursday, May 11, and plans to keep cooking till 4 pm today to reach her record goal of 96 hours. Hilda has presently cooked for 88 hours with just 6 hours of rest time and has less than 7 hours left to set her own record.  Many Nigerians have been showing support for the chef including celebrities like actress Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, Comedian Macaroni, actor Ike Ogbonna, Tiwa Savage and Tobi Bakre amongst others.
