"Kanayo doings": Theatre acts students of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) storm induction in Diabolic costumes

-Theatre Arts students of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University have gone all African Magic mode

-In a viral social media photo, the students were seen donning diabolic African costumes as popularly seen in Nollywood movies

- It was gathered that the reason for the costume was to induct 100 and 200-level theatre arts. 

The Department of Theatre Arts, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State, has taken its induction of new students into the department to another dimension. 

As reported by the Nigerian Tribune, 100 and 200-level students of the department were inducted dramatically and epically. 

This was seen by jistown.blogspot.com in a Facebook post made on the official page of the University on Tuesday, April 25.

 In the post, the new students were seen donning their diabolic costumes in the portrayal of the Nigerian traditional norm seen in Nollywood movies and drama's. 

A caption from the university's official Facebook page reads: “The Department is seen as a family and today, they had their anticipated initiation. “Once again, Congratulations to the Inductees!!’ .

About Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University The Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University is a public institution formerly known as the Anambra State University. 

The institution was named after former Biafran warlord and native of Anambra state, Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu. Nigerian chef Hilda Baci breaks Guinness World Record for longest cooking time, cooks 88 hours & still cooking .

 Congratulations have poured in for Nigeria’s chef, Hilda Baci, as she finally breaks record of existing Guinness World Records holder, Lata Tondon. The current holder of the is an Indian chef Lata Tandon, who set a Guinness World Record for cooking for 87 hours and 45 minutes non-stop in 2019 . The 27-year-old has been cooking nonstop since 4 pm on Thursday, May 11, and plans to keep cooking till 4 pm today to reach her record goal of 96 hours. Hilda has presently cooked for 88 hours with just 6 hours of rest time and has less than 7 hours left to set her own record.  Many Nigerians have been showing support for the chef including celebrities like actress Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, Comedian Macaroni, actor Ike Ogbonna, Tiwa Savage and Tobi Bakre amongst others.
