Davido is a singer, songwriter, record producer, and Nigerian-American with a huge fan base thanks to his distinctive sound and appearance. His actual name is David Adedeji Adeleke; he was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on November 21, 1992. He is one of the most well-known musicians from Nigeria and has had a big influence on the African music scene.
Davido was born to wealthy, business- and music-experienced Nigerian parents. Adedeji Adeleke, his father, is a multibillionaire businessman who controls a sizable conglomerate with holdings in banking, real estate, and energy. Davido's passion in music was sparked by his mother, Veronica Adeleke, a university instructor and music enthusiast.
Davido attended school in both Nigeria and the United States as he was growing up because of his many moves between them. His passion for music began at a young age, and while still a high school student, he started creating songs and recording music. He enrolled in Oakwood University in Huntsville, Alabama, after finishing high school, where he studied Business Administration.
When Davido released his debut track, "Back When," featuring Nigerian rapper Naeto C, his musical career took off. Davido became a growing star in the Nigerian music business as a result of the song, which became an instant hit.
