Jamie Foxx health update: family "hoping for the best" as star remains in hospital


 Jamie Foxx has been hospitalised for a month due to a "medical complication."


Since the star's illness, few facts about his condition have emerged.


"We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday," the actor's daughter Corinne Foxx stated in a social media message on April 12.


"Fortunately, he is already on his way to recovery thanks to quick action and excellent care." "We know how much he is loved, and we appreciate your prayers," she continued. "The family requests privacy at this time."


According to reports, Foxx's ailment is thought to be the result of a history of high blood pressure, which could lead to a stroke. However, this has not yet been formally confirmed.


During Foxx's nearly 30-day stay in the hospital, conflicting claims of his condition have emerged. While most reports indicate that the actor is on the mend, one insider told Radar on Tuesday (9 May) that his friends and family are "hoping for the best - but bracing for the worst."
